Discovering the history of my family has been a long and rewarding journey.  My grandfather, Albert Graves, did not give detailed information concerning the family to his children, so most of my information was gleaned from public records, photographs, letters and family stories.  My father, his sisters and their cousins where most helpful in sharing with me the information they had which gave me a starting point for my search.
